I'm a longtime celebrity baseball collector. Been collecting them since the mid 90s. She didn't use the pen I sent, she didn't sign on the sweet spot & the marker skipped a bit on the "L" ..... But not upset at all. Very happy to add this one to my collection.

Sent LOR, SA envelope with USD (because I couldn't figure out how to get Swiss stamps, or figured it would be easier to just send some cash, then go through the effort of obtaining enough Swiss Stamps for 1 envelope) and 2 photos.

Sophia Loren Success! - August 9th, 2017
This is the first time I have ever written to a celebrity for their autograph. So, thanks to Fanmail for providing the details!!!
I sent two photos to Ms Loren's address in Geneva with a Stamped Address Envelope. I live in northern Italy so not so far from the Swiss border and was able to post it in Switzerland.
One photo was of Ms Loren in her red dress the second was of my five-year old daughter at a Sophia Loren photo exhibition (in front of a picture of Ms Loren)
I received both back not only signed, dated (including location) but personalised. Ms Loren had written a three line message in Italian to my daughter.
Sent 20/7/2017, dated on photo 22/07/2017 and post-stamped on envelope 27/07/2017.
It was such a lovely gesture and we are over the moon to receive this from such an iconic Italian actress.

Sophia Loren is an Italian actress who is recognized as one of the most iconic movie stars of the 20th Century. She started her international career with films such as The Pride and the Passion and It Started in Naples and later in movies like Marriage Italian Style and Two Women which earned her the 1962 Best Actress Oscar. Aside from the Academy Award, she has won a Grammy Award, five special Golden Globes, a BAFTA, a Laurel Award, the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival, the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival, and an Honourary Academy Award in 1991. In 1995, she received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement.
She signed the photo I sent her and returned it in my SASE in 48 days.
