The Great Lauren Bacall success - August 30th, 2013
Sent a handwritten LoR, 8"x10" photo, and SASE to the database address (1 West 72nd Street, NY, NY) on 8/15/13, received quickly on 8/26/13.
Such an illustrious icon of film noir, and one of the greatest actresses still living. Fascinating signature as well, she added extra letters to her name so it reads as "Llllaaauurreennnn Bbbaaacccaaaallll." Clever.
It's amusing to collect autographs, and not only amusing, but a smart investment as well. Swift responses also further appreciation of the person you are writing to.

Lauren Bacall Success! - March 8th, 2013
I sent her one photo to sign and received it one week later! I was surprised at how fast it got back to me! Though we do live in the same state. It was not personalized but thats understandable given her age! Im still absolutely thrilled to have it seeing as she is a legend and one of my all time favorite actresses.
I sent a SASE, fan letter with a request also written into it. My letter was gone, so that means she took the time to read it and she also put my photo inside of a nice plastic lining thing! Someone also wrote that Fragile onto the envelope...so that was nice of her.
