Mailed two photos to Mr. Douglas who is 99 yrs. old. Today I got a letter from him saying he doesn't do autographs any longer and he thanks all his fans for the commitment to him.

Legendary Actor Kirk Douglas Success! - December 1st, 2014
Mr. Douglas is a Hollywood icon known for films such as Ace in the Hole, Paths of Glory, and of course Spartacus.
In recent years, Mr. Douglas health has not been great and he has largely stopped signing autographs aside from occasionally his books; but even that is often hit or miss. I decided to take a chance though, and wrote him a letter and enclosed my copy of his book hoping it would be signed.
