Julian Glover Actor - January 7th, 2019
Julian Wyatt Glover CBE (born 27 March 1935) is an English classical actor, with many stage, television and film roles since commencing his career in the 1950s. He is a recipient of the Laurence Olivier Award.
Glover has performed many times for the Royal Shakespeare Company. His film roles have included General Maximilian Veers in The Empire Strikes Back, Aristotle Kristatos in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only, Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Brian Harcourt-Smith in The Fourth Protocol. He also voiced the giant spider Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Glover has also appeared frequently on television, especially in Britain, including guest appearances in cult series such as The Avengers, The Saint, Doctor Who, Blake's 7 and Remington Steele. From 2011 to 2016, he played the recurring supporting role of Grand Maester Pycelle in HBO's Game of Thrones, and in January 2013, appeared as General Beauvilliers in the BBC drama Spies of Warsaw.
He was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2013 Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to drama.

Back in August, I sent a SASE, fan letter, and 8x10 photo to actress Julie Newmar at:

Today, November 15th, 2018, I received my photo back along with a little extra goodie. In my letter I told Ms. Newmar that I was hoping to track down a copy of her book, but that it's hard to track down, and when I was able to track it down, it was really expensive. When I emptied the SASE, I noticed that there was a something else in the envelope. It seemed kind of thick, but I assumed that it was a brochure for her online store where she sells autographs. No, it was a copy of her book, "The Conscious Catwoman." I am beyond stunned right now!
