I sent a LOR and a picture to Sir Ian McKellen about a month and a half ago. I accidently forgot to send a SASE like I normally do, but he paid for the postage and took my address from my envelope and taped it on the envelope he sent! Ingenious! He signed and personalized my picture and sent it back. I am so excited about this success!! Sent to the address in the database I think..

IAN MCKELLEN AUTOGRAPH SUCCESS! - September 2nd, 2012
Yesterday I received an authentic autograph from Ian McKellen TTM!!!! I am so excited about this one, because I have always considered him one of the best actors of all time! He signed and personalized two of the same pictures I sent, one for me and the other for my sister!

Received my 8x10 from Lord of the Rings back signed today on September 1, 2012!
I included a letter, SASE, & $3...judging by the stamp I seems I may have short changed him a buck or so.

I sent LOR, SASE, photo and FDC. Received my photo signed and FDC unsigned in my SASE.
He was great in: The Shadow, Apt Pupil, X-Men, The Lord of the Rings and The Da Vinci Code.
Especially for me in The Shadow and Apt Pupil.
