Ian McKellen SUCCESS - May 10th, 2014
Another "Hobbit" card back to me! So happy to add Sir Ian McKellen to the bunch. Unfortunately, I completely forgot that he was in the United States for a bit doing his plays on Broadway, so I sent it to his UK agency and have had to wait a little while. Still, its definitely been worth it, as he signed the card beautifully.

Ian McKellen success! - April 30th, 2014
Dont have a record of when this was sent, but it was sometime in the Autumn of 2013. I wrote to Ian at the address in the db, sending an LOR and SAE but did not enclose a photo. On the 24th April 2014, I received a nice 6x4 of Ian as Gandalf, personalised to me. Thanks again Ian!
