I received a fantastic success from the amazing actor: Ed Asner! On December 18th, 2013, I mailed a letter explaining how much I loved his roles in Up and Elf and a self-addressed stamped envelope to

Ed Asner amazing (and funny!) success! (Edward Asner) - December 31st, 2013
On 10th December 2013, I wrote to Ed Asner at the address in the db (Quince Productions Inc), sending an LOR, a photo and a little Christmas card I had made for him. Today, Dec 31st 2013 I received a reply. He personalised the one I sent with a great inscription..."how can I make you a prince when you are already a King?"...my surname is King you see lol. He also added a post it note to the top, saying how his cat damaged the picture (and an English cat at that!) and he had enclosed another photo to make up for it. He also sent back the Christmas card I made and added a message on the front, telling me I was still on the naughty list!
Thankyou so much Ed, a wonderful way to end 2013 for me. You sir, are a true legend.

Edward Asner Success - November 28th, 2013
I sent him a letter, self-addressed envelope and a photo. A month later, he replied me with my photo signed and an inspiring message and sympathy to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Ed Asner SPECIAL 2nd Success! (Edward Asner) - September 20th, 2013
A month or so ago I posted my very smudged response from Ed Asner. The marker apparently was not compatible with my glossy paper. Well, I sent him another with a letter explaining what happened. When he sent it back, ink from my letter had melted all over everything. However, the front of my pictures remained unaffected. Never the less, he threw in an 8.5x11 of his own for good measure! Very nice guy! On my X-Files picture, he wrote "Brett - Your envelope was soaked through. I hope you stayed dry!" On my FDR pic, he wrote "We did our best!" It took only a couple weeks to get this second reply. I used the address on file. I am posting a picture that includes the three autographs, and my soaked through letter. (Careless USPS, I guess)
