Dolly Parton Success - April 12th, 2019
Dolly Parton, American country music legend
I wrote to Dolly Parton on February 13, 2019 and received my photo back, signed and personalized, on April 11, 2019! My family has been visiting her hometown of Pigeon Forge and its neighbor, Gatlinburg, in the Great Smoky Mountains longer than I have been alive, so I think of those places everytime I hear her music!
She is my 30th Grammy winner, 49th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 5th member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, 9th recipient of the National Medal of the Arts, and 11th Kennedy Center Honoree!
