First, I had printed out my own personal label for the envelope I sent and on the SASE. They removed the label from the mailing envelope and taped it to their own envelope, saving me the SASE for future use. A personal touch that I though was nice.
Second, they added a pre-print autograph photo, saying that, for each autograph request, I need to make a contribution to the Pittsburgh charity (didn't say how much).

Clint Hurdle Failure (Pittsburgh Pirates) - September 29th, 2011
I sent a letter, a card, and SASE to Clint Hurdle the current manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates on 9/1/2011 today 9/29/2011 I received back a envelope back. It included my unused envelope and card I sent. also included an auto signed card and a pirates charity pamphlet.

Clint Hurdle Success (Pittsburgh Pirates) - June 26th, 2011
Sent LOR, SASE, and 1980 Topps baseball card to Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle in April to the Pittsburgh Pirates Address. In May I received a preprint photo and letter from the Pirates Charities stating Hurdle would sign for a donation to Prader-Willi Syndrome research. This Syndrome affects Hurdle's young daughter. I resent the items along with a $10 donation on June 13, 2011. On June 25, 2011, I received my signed card.

Clint Hurdle Preprint - May 28th, 2011
Mailed Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle a 1980 Topps card in Late April 2011 to the Pirates Team Address. Received a preprint photo with charatible donation request for Prader-Willi Syndrome Research to receive an authentic signature. There is no amount they are looking for according to the photo. Hurdle's daughter does suffer from this rare disease, and this is also a large reason he went to Pittsburgh even though he had a real legitimate chance at the Mets Managerial Job. Pittsburgh leads the country in the research and development of Prader-Willi Syndrom. As a father myself, I can respect a man who will put his family first and foremost over himself. I am going to resend the card with the donation.
