Bob Dole Success - June 28th, 2017
I received my photo signed by politician, Bob Dole, who served as a U.S. Senator from Kansas from 1969 until 1996, and also served as the Senate Majority Leader from 1985 until 1996. He was also the Republican nominee for President of the United States in 1996 and the nominee for Vice President of the United States in 1976. Great fast success!

Sen. Bob Dole Awesome Success! - December 17th, 2016
I wrote Sen. Bob Dole before and the photos got damaged- so I wanted to try again. Awesome success! Sent LOR/SASE, and (3) 5x7 photos 3-4 weeks ago. All photos were returned signed + in mint condition! Bob is a great signer, and the photos he signed are simply beautiful. I recommend searching for and printing photos from his archives (dolearchives.ku.edu). You can find some really unique, high quality images there. Sent to:

Senator Bob Dole - November 21st, 2016
Robert Joseph "Bob" Dole (born July 22, 1923) is an American politician who represented Kansas in the United States Senate from 1969 to 1996 and in the House of Representatives from 1961 to 1969. In the 1976 presidential election, Dole was the Republican Party nominee for Vice President and incumbent President Gerald Ford's running mate.
In 1942, Dole joined the United States Army's Enlisted Reserve Corps to fight in World War II, becoming a second lieutenant in the Army's 10th Mountain Division. In April 1945, while engaged in combat near Castel d'Aiano in the Apennine mountains southwest of Bologna, Italy, Dole was badly wounded by German machine gun fire, being hit in his upper back and right arm. As Lee Sandlin describes, when fellow soldiers saw the extent of his injuries, all they thought they could do was to "give him the largest dose of morphine they dared and write an 'M' for 'morphine' on his forehead in his own blood, so that nobody else who found him would give him a second, fatal dose.
