Seymour Nessenbaum W W I I Ghost Army - April 13th, 2024
Seymour Nussenbaum WWII.. Member of the Ghost Army. More than 80 years after they conducted visual, sonic and radio deception against German forces during World War II, soldiers who served in the so-called Ghost Army received the Congressional Gold Medal on Thursday, March 20, 2024.
Three of the seven surviving members of the 23rd Headquarters Special TroopsBernard Bluestein, 100; John Christman, 99; and Seymour Nussenbaum, 100as well as family of late members, attended a special ceremony on March 21, 2024, at the Capitol to honor the Ghost Army with the Congressional Gold Medal.
Following the war, the unit's soldiers were sworn to secrecy, records were classified and equipment packed away, and that immediately after the war, Ghost Army soldiers received a letter of thanks from then-Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, with a memorable P.S.: "If you tell anyone, I'll see that you hang."

U.S. Circuit Judge Robin Rosenbaum of U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit - December 12th, 2023
Robin Rosenbaum served as U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida from 2012-2014 and is currently serving as U.S. Circuit Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit since June 2014. She is working on civil rights including people with disabilities' rights and criminal justice reform. On 4/04/2023 I mailed a letter explaining how I find U.S. Circuit Judge Rosenbaum's work to be very inspiring to me at:
