She is one of the daughters of Johnny Cash and his first wife, Vivian Liberto Cash Distin, born shortly before the release of her father's first single. Cash has, to date, received one Grammy Award, for "Best Female Vocalist - Country" (in 1986) for the hit "I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me".
