Mr. Richard Carpenter singer (The Carpenters) awesome success! - 2021年12月12日
Mr. Richard Carpenter is a singer and was a member of The Carpenters. He and Karen Carpenter sang some songs They Long to Be Close to you, And I Love You So, Cant Smile Without You, Its Going to Take Some Time, and many others. On 9/27/2021 I mailed a letter explaining how I enjoy Mr. Carpenter's work to be very inspiring to me, a birthday card for Oct 15th, a small donation, and an SASE at:

On 12/11/2021 I received a nice response from Mr. Carpenter and he sent me a handwritten letter to me.

Richard Carpenter success - 2021年9月20日
Hi! I sent a request (LOR + photo + one card + SASE) to the address in database in early July (I guess) and received my photo back signed today on Sept 20. I am very happy! 
I wasn't sure if he would sign as he stated more than once that he would not sign memorabilia or Carpenters photos, so it made my day! He kept the card and signed and inscribed my photo of him and Karen.  
I think if you show that you are a real fan and really cares about his music, he will sign any item.
