2006年07月24日 - I asked one of my newer students who she really admires and would like to write to. She immediately responded that it was Enrique Iglesias because his music has really affected her life in such a positive way. I told her that I would get her his address, but that I really did not know if she would get a response due to his hectic schedule. Well, we were taken completely by surprise. We sent the letter and SASE in the beginning of June, and received a response in about seven weeks. He sent her a beautiful color photo, personalized to her, "with love" I believe, written in both English and Spanish, and his signature. I wish I knew how to scan. The class was ecstatic and it really made their day that he could find the time to do such a kind thing. It, too, is framed over the front door!
