As a player at the FC Bayern Munich, he won most of the trophies that were possible and dominated the german football together with players like Gerd Müller and Sepp Maier. He was the captain of the german national football team and won the "FIFA World Cup" in 1974 and the "European Championship" in 1972 with it. Later he played at the HSV and the NY Cosmos (together with Pelé) He won the Ballon d´or twice (1972+1976)
As the coach of the national team, he won the "FIFA World Cup" ,for his second time, in 1990 with it.
